Diana “Kay” Wolfe, age 69, of Lexington, N.C. and formerly of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Hinkle Hospice House. She was born December 31, 1948, to the late James Martin Miller and Gladys Hill Miller in Lawton, Okla. Kay was employed as a CNA at Cedar Lawn Nursing Home and worked as a cashier at Walmart for several years. She attended Lexington Church of God while her health prevailed.
In addition to her parents, Kay was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Clyde Avery Wolfe; brother, Roy Miller; and sister, Annie Woodruff.
She is survived by her four daughters: Diana Gail Eastridge and husband, Sammy; Sheila Hogston and husband, Wade; Sherry Eggers and husband, Phillip; and Patty Ritchie and husband, Jerry, all of Lexington, N.C.; brother, James Miller and wife, Margaret, of Jacksonville, N.C.; sister, Wanda Miller of Lawton, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Charlie Hogston, Kacy Rios, Carrie Eastridge, Patrick Wolfe, Brooke Hogston, Abby Wolfe, and Samantha and Maddie Eggers; a great granddaughter, Vandi Rios; and multiple nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Rodney Merrill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
