Donald C. Kiser

Donald C. Kiser, age 80, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017. He was a peacetime veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Reynolds Aluminum after 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his brother-in-law, Ed Dockery, and his wife, Phyllis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Kiser and Helen Brown Kiser; and a sister, Priscilla Kiser. Donald is survived by his wife, Pamela Kiser; sons, Kenneth Kiser and wife, Jill, of Petersburg, Va. and Tim Kiser and wife, Maggi, of Abingdon, Va.; five grandchildren, Krystal, Derek, Regina, Zachary, and Lucas; and two great grandchildren, Sadie and Silas.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Chaplain Mark Morgan officiating. A private interment will occur in Temple Hill Memorial Park.
