Donald Lee Luttrell

Abingdon, VA – Donald Lee Luttrell, age 76, passed on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his home.  Don was an employee of the Ball Corporation for 33 years.  He loved to hunt and was a proud member of the NRA and the United Steel Workers Union.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, George Luttrell, and Ruby Virginia Roe Luttrell Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Vestal Luttrell; children, Stacy Lee Luttrell and wife Pamela, and Amy Hurd and Joe; brother, John Luttrell and wife Sue; eight grandchildren, Alexander Quinn Lensch, Gabriel Luttrell, Cody Hurd, Gage Luttrell, Chase Hurd, Alexis Luttrell, Zeke Stewart, and Cordell Luttrell; great granddaughter, Amara Woolwine-Luttrell; and many nieces, nephews, close friends, and special neighbors whom are considered extended family.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2023, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Caleb Holman officiating.  Cordell Luttrell, Zeke Stewart, Chase Hurd, Cody Hurd, Henry Ray, Aaron Blankenship, and Gage Luttrell will serve as pallbearers.
