Donald Willis Coe, 76, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was born April 26, 1942 in Smyth County, Va. He loved spending time with family and friends, and loved to sing as an Elvis tribute artist. Donald was a retired car salesman.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Pauline Coe; one granddaughter, Shaina Berry, three brothers, Skippy, Sonny, and Roger Coe; and niece, Denise Coe Rouse. Donald is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Yulanda Walden Coe; daughters, Anita “Buffy” Yarber and husband Les of Abingdon and Carol Coe of Glade Spring; son, Mark Lewis Coe, grandchildren, Alicia Kestner, Adrian Kestner, Dustin Huffman, and Jordan Coe; ten great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Coe; his best friend, Hector Heath; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery, Glade Spring, Va., with Kevin Elswick officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
