Donna Whittaker Fields, age 57, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at her home. Donna was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Va. and made her career in food service with Washington County School System. She attended the Gospel Tabernacle Church. Donna’s joy was making a home for her family.
She is survived by her husband Perry Fields; parents Willie and Gladys Whittaker of Abingdon; sons Benjamin Fields of the home and Desmond Fields and wife Jessica of Abingdon; brother Darrell Whittaker of Damascus; grandchildren Ashton Fields, Nathaniel Fields, Grayer Fields, Hudson Fields and Kynlee Fields.
Cryptside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at the Knollkreg Mausoleum with Pastor David Robins officiating. Those attending are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial doantions be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or at American Cancer Society, Inc., Post Office Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
COVID-19 guidelines will be followed by attendees wearing masks and social distancing maintained.
