Doris Ann Stevens Leheny

Bristol, VA- Doris Ann Stevens Leheny, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at her home. She attended Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church and was last employed as a Machinist at Bristol Compressors. She was a loving mother to her children and three toy poodles who loved her family with all of her heart. She was born to the late John Hubert Stevens and Carrie Mae Stewart Stevens on August 11, 1943. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, John Lane Leheny; brother, Roy Stevens; and sister, Mary Ford. She is survived by two sons, Greg Eldreth and wife Sharon of Bristol, VA and Steven Lane Leheny of Bristol, TN; daughter, Charlene Eldreth Lang and husband David of Bristol, TN; special daughter, Morgan Phillips of the home; two sisters, Patty Fleenor and husband Dan of Hiltons, VA and Sherry Gross of Bristol, VA; sister-in-law, Carol Stevens of Henry, VA; former husband, Charles Eldreth, Jr.; 9 grandchildren, Jason and Kari Phillips, David, Chelsea, Samantha, and Teddy Lang, Matthew and Miranda Eldreth, and Brandon Poore; 6 great grandchildren, Isaiah, Brayden, Maddison, Brooklyn, Ryan, and Kara; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2014 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with the Reverend Larry W. Browder officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Fleenor, Dan Fleenor Sr., Dan Fleenor Jr., Dan Fleenor III, Jarrett Richardson, and Tim Valentine. Nurses Freyda and Marsha of Wellmont Hospice will serve as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defer the cost of final expenses.
