Dorothy A. Worley

Abingdon, VA – Dorothy Jane Arden Worley, age 73, passed on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in Ballad Hospice House.  Dorothy worked for Washington County Public Libraries for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Junior Arden and Joyce Eileen Clark Troitino; stepfather, Joe Troitino; and brothers, William Joe Arden and David Wayne Arden.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Paul Worley; two sons, Paul Worley, Jr. and wife Malinda of Abingdon, VA, and Travis Worley and wife Linda of Abingdon, VA; daughter, Cyndi Berndt and husband Dan of Blountville, TN; sister, Michelle Reynolds of Abingdon, VA; four grandchildren, April Tittle, Ashton Worley, Luke Worley, and Charlee Worley; two great grandchildren, Mason and Abbie Tittle; sisters-in-law, Denise Arden and Dellene Eades; and several nieces and nephews.

Cryptside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the Serenity Gardens Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Gary Breeding officiating.
