Elizabeth C. Turner, 90, of Blountville, TN passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010.
She was born Elizabeth C. Wheeler on February 9, 1920. She lived in Abingdon for many years before moving to Tennessee. She was a member of Cassidy United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, E.K. Price; her second, LeRoy Scott and her third, Charles Turner; a son, Kenneth S. Price; brothers, Pete Wheeler and Les Wheeler; and sisters, Florence W. Lemay and Helen W. Begley Alvis.
She is survived by one sister, Chloe W. Young; three sons, Odis Lynn Price and wife, Carolyn, Jerry W. Price and wife, Clara and Charles Scott Price of the home; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and step children, Don Turner, David Turner, Sam Turner, Barbara Clifton and Jerry Turner.
A graveside service for Mrs. Turner will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon with Pastor Greg Greer officiating. Pallbearers will be Donnie Toney, John Lovell, Jerry Price, Jason Price, Joshua Price, Edwin Craig, Mark Pretty and Lynn Price. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
