Elizabeth Caudill

Elizabeth Caudill, 91, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at her home with her family.

She was born March 31, 1918 in Washington County, VA and was a daughter of the late John Andrew and Lothie Mae Hash. She loved flowers, cooking, gardening, and most of all her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Harvest Fellowship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garfield; a daughter, Betty Lou Sanders and son, Delmer Caudill.

Survivors are one son, Gilmer Caudill; several grandsons and granddaughters; two special granddaughters, Dee Dee Taylor and Angie Caudill; daughter-in-law, Ethel Caudill; son-in-law, Oakley Sanders; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, daughter-in-law Ethel Caudill, son-in-law Oakley Sanders and special caregiver, Wanda Zill.

The family would also like to extend a special thanks to the employees of Hometown Hospice for their exceptional care.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Dickie Wilson and Tommy Wilson officiating. The committal service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Memories of Mausoleum at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eric Taylor, Oakley Sanders, Troy Caudill, Shorty Caudill, Harry Parris and Bucky Parris.

The family will be receiving friends at Farris Funeral Service from 5:00 until 6:45 P.M. on Tuesday or anytime on Monday at Mrs. Caudill's residence at 12361 Lindell Road, Meadowview, VA.
