Ella Mae Sutter, 78, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010 in Valley Health Care in Chilhowie, VA.
She was born in Washington County, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Henry Watson and Molly Fields Terry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Granville Sutter; sisters, Emma Mink, Virginia Snead, Ethel Smith and Martha Smart and brothers, Kenneth and Henry Terry.
Survivors are sisters, Mary Chilton and Helen Davidson both of Abingdon; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Terry and Janet Terry; brothers-in-law, Russell Smith and Henry Smart and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Roselawn Cemetery in Marion, VA with Jerry Fritz officiating. Interment will follow. Nieces and Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to go in procession to the cemetery are asked to assemble at Farris Funeral Service by 1:00 P.M. Sunday.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
