Elsie Thomas Turley, 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon , VA.
She was a lifetime member of Clover Hill Baptist Church in Richmond , VA.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Lee Turley and sons, Mike Turley and wife, Donna of Bristol, Tony Turley of Richmond, VA, Timmy Turley and wife, Selena of Amelia Co., VA and Chris Turley of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren, Alex, Adam, Aaron, Andrew and Mariah Turley; great grandson, Anderson Turley; brothers, Sam Thomas and Henry Grant of Richmond, VA; sister, Ethel Houser of Richmond, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, January 23, 2012 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Calvin T. Eaves, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Baptist Cemetery .
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Clover Hill Baptist Church , 3100 Courthouse Road , Richmond , VA 23236 .
The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, January 22, 2012.
