Ennice Cornelia Havens Overbay

Abingdon, VA – Ennice Cornelia Havens Overbay, age 87, passed on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at her home. Ennice was a member of Greendale Chapel. She is preceded in death by her parents, John William and Lucy Mae Poe Havens; daughter, Kathy Fitzgerald; husband, Harold Overbay; brother, Bill Havens; and sister, Jessie Havens.

She is survived by her children, Donnie Overbay, Anthony Overbay, Leslie Overbay, Carol Harmon, Billy Overbay, Lesia Overbay, Barbara Murray, and Mary Baumer; siblings, James Havens, George Havens, Ernest Havens, Kathrine Elrod, Jean Sosby, Betty Ford, and Marie Taylor; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be held 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Robin Coleman as well as Wellmont Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wellmont Hospice.
