Ernie Robert Creasy

Ernie Robert Creasy, age 69,  passed away peacefully at his home in Meadowview, VA, on August 22, 2023. He was born on February 27, 1954, in Smyth County, VA, to the late James Robert Creasy and Eva June Widner Creasy.

Ernie will forever be remembered as a hardworking and committed individual who spent many years as a truck driver. He took great pride in his career and brought a strong work ethic to everything he did. Ernie's dedication and professionalism earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and made him a valued member of the industry.

In addition to his parents, Ernie is preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Creasy and a sister, Linda Billiter.

Ernie leaves behind a loving family who cherishes the memories they shared with him. He is survived by his son Kevin Creasy and daughter Dawn Creasy. In addition to his children, Ernie is also survived by his special friend, Sandy Norris, brothers James Leon Creasy and Steve Preston Creasy, sister Gladys Wilson and her husband Curtis Wilson, sister Peggy Isenhour, sister Kathey Malone, grandson Aaron, as well as several nieces and nephews.

During this time of grief and loss, it is important to remember Ernie's contagious spirit. His determination has left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. Ernie's memory will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 12:00 pm until 12:50 pm at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
