Esther Alma Suit Hale

Esther Alma Suit Hale, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Esther was born on March 17, 1931, in Dante, VA to the late William and Rosa Suit. Esther and her late husband, Noah lived in Washington County for all of their married life. She was a member of High Point Baptist Church in Meadowview, VA. She enjoyed cooking and sewing, Esther was a wonderful cook!

In addition to her parents, Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Noah Bruce Hale, three sisters, Marie Beck, Edith Dean, and Lou Burgess.

Survivors include one daughter, Faith A. Anderson and her husband Robert; one son, Eric Hale and his wife, Sherri; three grand-children, Noah Hale, Anna Hale and Brandi Kiser; one great-grandchild, Daniel Kiser.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Farris Funeral Service, Main Street location. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 with Rev. Stephen Richardson and Rev. David Critcher officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
