Esther Pauline Stout Scott

Abingdon, Va.

Esther Pauline Stout Scott, 90, passed on Thursday, September 27, 2018, in Abingdon Health & Rehab Center. She is now rejoicing in Heaven with her late husband, James Campbell Scott.

Pauline was a member of Wyndale United Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. We love you Maw Maw and will miss you everyday.  

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Scott Browning; son, Tony Scott; sisters, Camella Green and Betty Shortt; brother, Roy “June” Stout; sons-in-law, Thomas Franklin Scott and John Browning. 

Pauline is survived by her son, Jeff (Phyllis) Scott; daughter, Sharon Scott; grandchildren, Angie Osborne, Kim Deel, Tammy O'Dell, Thomas "Tom T" Franklin Scott, Jr. Billy Bradley, Eric Bradley, James Anthony Scott; great-grandchildren, Kaylynn Osborne, Hannah Osborne, Dayton Osborne, Jaimie Deel, Megan Deel, Lindsey Deel, Carter Jones, Emily Deel, Thomas Franklin Scott, III, Saraphine Scott, Olivia Scott, Austin Bradley, Kameron, Kyndall and Keyesen Bradley; and great-great-granddaughter, Amiyah Osborne. 

Visitation with the family will be held 1-2 p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Les Ketron officiating.  Interment will follow in Knollkreg Memorial Park where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
