Ethel M. Bowers Dickenson, 90, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 in Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.
She was a devoted Christian and a member of Beaver View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Katheryn Bowers; her husband, Jack Dickenson and brothers and sisters, Katherine Ruth Strouth, Nellie Anderson, Pearl Harley, Daisy Harley, Lee Bowers, Clarence Bowers, Roscoe Bowers, and Tobe Bowers.
Survivors are her two sons, Richard Dickenson and wife, Cindy and Fred Dickenson and wife, Betty; brothers and sisters, Eva Moore, Margaret Nash, Betty Watson, Fay Roark, Ann Roark, Carolyn Tomlinson, Ralph Bowers, Jackie Bowers, and Nub Bowers; four grandchildren, Alicia Owens, Tim Dickenson, Tony Dickenson, and Ingar Pope; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, May 23, 2011 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Interment will follow. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:45 P.M. Monday.
Please, no flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to Glade Spring Disaster Relief Fund Charity of choice.
