Evelyn Moore Barnett

Evelyn Moore Barnett passed away into the arms of Jesus on September 23, 2012. She died at Harton Medical Center in Tullahoma, TN after many weeks of terrible pain from the complications of a colonoscopy.

Evelyn was born in Meadowview, VA in 1932 to the late Miles and Myrtle Moore. She graduated from Meadowview High School in 1950 with honors; worked at Massengills in Bristol, TN prior to moving to Tullahoma where she had made her home for the last many years.

She leaves behind those who loved her very much, husband, Pete Barnett, Tullahoma, TN; two sons and their wives: Matt and Shelia Barnett, Murfreesboro, TN; Steve and Gina Barnett, Lynchburg, TN; three grandsons, Chad, Josh and Caleb Barnett; one granddaughter, Evie, and husband, Jared Ross and one great grandson, Cameron Ross, Germany; four sisters and their spouses: Pauline and Fred Buckles, Meadowview, VA; Sylvia and Everett Flick, Bristol, TN; Nellie Jane Patrick, Bristol, TN; Mavis and John Snodgrass, Knoxville, TN; five brothers and spouses: Gerald and Margaret Moore, Abingdon, VA; Clyde and Pat Moore, Ashland, VA; Bob and Linnay Moore, Hamilton, MI; Paul and Phyllis Moore, Bristol, VA; Luke Blevins, Bristol, VA, several nieces and nephews, Uncle Albert Rickman, Lyndhurst, VA; Aunt Alma Rickman, Stuarts Draft, VA; many cousins and friends. Kilgore Funeral Home, Tullahoma, TN served the family.
