Everette Emerson Fuqua II

Everette Emerson Fuqua, II "Rusty", age 86, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at his home. He was a member of Abingdon Baptist Church for over 40 years, and was a member of the Abingdon Masonic Lodge No. 48. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II.

He was born to the late Harry Emerson Fuqua and Effie Berry Fuqua in Cape Charles, VA on November 16, 1926. He was also preceded in death by two sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Annie Carolyn Mills Fuqua; daughter, Elizabeth Laing of the home; two sons, Harry Emerson Fuqua, II and wife Diane of CA and Everette Emerson Fuqua, III and wife Frances of CA; seven grandchildren, Tiffany Laing, Danielle Laing, Lindsey Parker, Ryan Laing, Harry Emerson Fuqua, III, Avery Fuqua, and Everette Emerson Fuqua, IV; and two great grandchildren, Aliera Malihan and Zoey Kukulica.
