Flora B. Johnson Kodak, 92, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Waynesboro Hospital.
Flora was born, February 26, 1918 in Coeburn, VA to the late James and Rebecca Puckett Johnson. She was a hairdresser and owned her own salon. She was a member of Eastern Star for many years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Kodak, Jr., and fourteen siblings.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Adkins and husband, Ray of Waynesboro, PA, Kitty Inscore and husband, Gene of Abingdon, VA; one sister, Bessie Burk of Indiana; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Charles Clifton officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 1:45 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
