Florence Marie Keith, 79, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Christian Care Center in Bristol, Tenn. She spent most of her life in the Abingdon area. Florence was of the Holiness faith, and she was known for her beautiful smile and her ability to endear others to her. She was truly the matriarch of the family, having raised her siblings and her children as well.
Florence is survived by her sons, William Glenn Widener and wife Angie of Abingdon, and Paul Morgan Widener and wife Tammie of Belle, Mo.; daughter Teresa Wingo and husband John of Bristol, Tenn.; brother Carson Buchanan of Abingdon; sister Nancy Wolfe of Abingdon; grandchildren Lisa Weddle, Michael Widener, William Widener, Eddie Bouldin and Katie Bouldin; great-grandchildren Tyler Weddle, Caleb Weddle, Chey Widener, Samantha Widener, Korbyn Widener, Ashton Bouldin and Troy Bouldin; niece Kim Wolfe; and nephew Ervin Wolfe.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home with David Matlock officiating. A committal service will be held at the Beatty Cemetery, Forest Hill Drive, Glade Spring, Va. at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 15, 2019. A procession will depart the funeral home Monday at 12:30 p.m. for the service.
