Bristol, TN - Flory Maria del Carmen GaylorJune 12, 1956-July 30, 2019 It is with great sadness that the family of Flory Gaylor announce her passing. Flory, 63, was a long-standing resident of Bristol, Tn. She passed away on Tuesday, July 30th as a result of natural causes. Her family, friends, and caretakers remained with her as she slipped away from this world and into the hands of God. Flory was born in San Jose, Costa Rica. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, going out to eat, watching movies, telling jokes and reading/studying the Bible. She also enjoyed arts & crafts and caring for her dogs. Flory was an active member at La Casa de Restauración Church, Bristol, Tn. Flory was well known for being a kind hearted woman who always had a smile to share. Flory was a “social butterfly” who loved being around people. Flory is survived by her son Andrew Jack Gaylor, of Johnson City, Tn. and her daughter Andrea K. Diaz, of Abingdon,Va. She also leaves her daughter-in-law Mila Gaylor, of Johnson City, Tn.; her son-in-law Juan C. Díaz, of Abingdon, Va.; her grandchildren Aitiana “Tia” Gaylor, of O’Denton, Md.; Jasmine Gaylor, of Bristol, Tn.; Oliver Díaz and Sophia Díaz, of Abingdon, Va.; and her niece Marcela Hernández Delgado, of Alajuela, Costa Rica. Lastly, Flory leaves extended family members in Costa Rica, to include siblings: Sioni, Rodolfo, José, Beto, Hilda, Guiselle and Isabel, whom also has children and grandchildren. She was proceeded in death by her husband Clyde L. Gaylor, WWII Army Veteran and her mother Zoraida María Hernández Delgado. Flory is forever and lovingly remembered by her family, friends and community members. A celebration of Flory’s life will be held at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, Va. 24210 on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. Her viewing is at 2:00pm, the funeral service is at 3:00pm with a procession and burial to follow. Rev. Flory María del Carmen GaylorJunio 12, 1956 - Julio 30, 2019Con gran tristeza la familia de Flory Gaylor anuncia su muerte. Flory tenía 63 años y era residente de Bristol Tennessee.  Flory murió el martes, Julio 30 por causas naturales.  Su familia, amigos y las personas que le cuidaban se mantuvieron con ella hasta su partida de este mundo para estar en los brazos de Dios.Flory nació en San José Costa Rica.  Ella fue ama de casa, madre y abuelita.  Ella disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, salir a comer, mirar películas, hacer bromas, leer y estudiar la Biblia.  Flory, disfrutaba mucho el arte y manualidades y amaba cuidar de sus perros.  Así mismo Flory era miembro activa de la Iglesia Casa de Restauración Bristol, Tn. Se destacaba por mantener siempre una sonrisa para compartir y un gran corazón. Flory fue una mariposa sociable que le encantaba estar rodeada de las personas.Flory tiene dos hijos Andrew Jack Gaylor, de Johnson City, Tn. y su hija Andrea Kimberly Díaz de Abingdon, Va. Ella también deja su nuera Mila Gaylor, de Johnson City, Tn., su yerno Juan Carlos Díaz, de Abingdon, Va., sus nietas y nieto: Aitiana “Tía” Gaylor, de O’ Denton, Md., Jasmine Gaylor de Johnson City, Tn., Oliver Díaz y Sophia Díaz de Abingdon, Va., y su sobrina Marcela Hernández Delgado, de Alajuela, Costa Rica. Por otro lado, Flory deja una gran familia en Costa Rica que incluye: Sioni, Rodolfo, José, Beto, Hilda, Guiselle e Isabel, cada uno con sus hijos, hijas y nietos. A Flory le prosigue el fallecido esposo Clyde L. Gaylor, WWII veterano de la armada y en Costa Rica su madre Zoraida María Hernández. Flory será amada y recordada para siempre por su familia, amigos y miembros de la comunidad. Los arreglos funerales han sido realizados por el servicio Funerario Farris, Abingdon, Va. Una celebración de la vida de Flory se llevará acabo en Forest Hill Memorial Gardens, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, Va. 24210. El sábado, Agosto 3, 2019.  Para mirar su cuerpo presente será a las 2pm, y el servicio funeral será a las 3pm, con una procesión siguiendo el entierro.
