Flossie "Flo" Frances Brewer, 77, of Bristol, TN went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2011 in her home.
Flo enjoyed singing and playing Bluegrass and Gospel music. She was the daughter of the late Varnum and Rosie Jones.
She is survived by her two sons, Roger Dale Jones of Bristol, VA, and Freddie Dennis Brewer of Bristol, TN; two daughters, Judy Cheatem of Bristol, TN, and Tabitha Woods and her husband Tony of Bristol, TN; a brother, Raymond Jones and his wife Janet of Denton Valley, VA.; a sister, Barbara Fields and her husband Michael of Bristol, TN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 25, 2011, at 8:00 PM at Farris Funeral Service, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, Virginia 24210 with the Rev. Tony Woods officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Pine Mountain Cemetery, Creston, NC. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to meet at the cemetery on Tuesday by 10:50 a.m.
