Frances Dixon Faris, age 99, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Wexford House in Kingsport , TN.
She was born in Washington County , VA on January 14, 1912 to the late Floyd and Nora Counts Dixon. She was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Kingsport , TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Neil Faris; one son, Jon Faris; two brothers, Charlie Dixon and Bill Dixon; and two sisters, Emma Ratliff and Pearl Grubb.
Survivors include one grandson, Jonathan ââ?¬Ë?Jon' M. Faris; three brothers, James Dixon, Roger Dixon and Darius Dixon; three sisters, Irene Cowan, Inez Carrico and Genevieve McCall.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Knollkreg Memorial Park . The family will receive friends from 2 pm until the time of the service in the mausoleum at Knollkreg.
