Frances "Frankie" Seiple

Mrs. Frances J. Seiple "Frankie", age 67 passed away Monday June 3, 2013 in the Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN. Frankie was born in West Virginia. However, being a loving Navy wife, she called many places "home" during her husband's career. She has called Abingdon home since 1986. Family was the most important part of Frankie's life, as she dearly loved her husband, children and grandchildren. With a family focus, cooking was a large part of her life. Over time, she had collected over 3,000 cookbooks. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she enjoyed collecting Santas and other Christmas decorations. Frankie was proud to be a Christian, and enjoyed helping others.

Mrs. Seiple was predeceased by her husband, Marvin, and her parents; Randolph and Sarah Viers. She was also predeceased by 5 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by: 2 daughters; Glenda R. Seiple,of the home and Tammie D. Dea Lowe (David) both of Abingdon. 3 sisters; Mazie Wise of Orlando, FL, Blanche Ingle of Asheville, NC and Stella Lester of Buchanan County VA; 6 grandchildren; Kenneth A. Dea and Nicholas Altman both of Abingdon, Christopher A. Dea (Ashley) of Milan, MI, Robert A. "R.J." Dea, II (Beka) of North Dakota, T.R. Lowe (Sarah) of Bluff City, TN and Patti Lowe of Ft. Myers, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances J. Seiple "Frankie" will be held at 1:00 Saturday June 8, 2013 in the Farris Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Interment will follow the funeral service at Forest Hills Memory Gardens; Abingdon, VA. The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 6 8 pm at Farris Funeral Service on Friday June 7, 2013.
