Frances Lucille Snodgrass

Frances Lucille Snodgrass, age 91 passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Wellmont Hospice House. She was born in Meadowview, VA on March 8, 1920 and was the daughter of the late George and Sally Blackwell. Mrs. Snodgrass was a member of Blackwell's Chapel Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Snodgrass, her son, Eddie Snodgrass, and her step-daughter Mary Virginia Wohlford.

Survivors include her daughters Linda Bies and Bonnie Atwell and husband Danny; step-sons John Snodgrass and wife Dawn, Jim Snodgrass and wife Ada; step-daughters, Lois Mattison and Frances Craig and husband Phil; six grandchildren Stephanie Ray and husband William, Amber Jessee and husband Nick, Jessica Cross and husband Todd, Lisa Humphrey and husband Matt, Mike Black and wife Marissa and Mark Black.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 P.M. Monday, November 7, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Scott Spence officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to the service Monday beginning at 6:00 P.M.

Committal services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wellmont Hospice House or to Blackwell's Chapel Church.
