Glade Spring, VA – George Robert Helton, age 52, passed on Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at his home. George was a 1982 graduate of Patrick Henry High School and a member of Gospel Tabernacle. He was employed by U.S. Gypsum and Royal Moldings for many years. George is preceded in death by his wife, Crystal Helton.
He is survived by his daughter, Brandi Nichole Helton; parents, James Walter “Tiny” Helton and Bessie Sue Kestner Helton; brother, Jimmy Helton and wife Frances; grandson, Keith Skylar Owens, and step sons, Anthony David Owens and Aaron Owens.
At George’s wish, there will be a private interment at Old Glade Presbyterian Cemetery.
