Gerald was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memories are the following: Son — Gerald Wayne Foster, Jr.; Stepdaughter — Donna Keen; Grandchildren — Zaiden Marcus Cruz Foster, Qylen Wayne Aleczander Foster, and Leighalani Evelyn Kaze Foster; Sisters — Cynthia Foster Black, Sherry Foster Lee, Jeanie Foster McDaniel, and Tracy Foster Rozier; Nieces and Nephews — Tamara Foster, Carmaine Foster, CJ Lee, Devon Kitchens, Princeton McDaniel, Derricka McDaniel, Candace Cleveland, and several great-nieces and great-nephews; Aunts — Marie Lampkins, and Trish Foster; Uncles — Glen Foster, Sr., and Don Foster, Sr.; and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 3:00 p.m., at the Foster Family Cemetery. Those attending who are not familiar with the location of the cemetery may meet at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 13429 Indian Run Road, Glade Spring, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 183, Emory, VA 24327.
