Geraldine Betty Jeffrey, 77, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN.
She was born May 29, 1934 in Raysal, WV and was a daughter of the late Harry and Esther Hillyer of Raysal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and a grandson, Nathan Murray of Bristol, TN. Mrs. Jeffrey had 25 years of service with Food Country.
Survivors are her brothers, Kenneth Hillyer and wife, Shirley and Harry Hillyer and partner, Jackie; her sons, Joey Michael Jeffrey of Bristol and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Jeffrey of Indianapolis, IN; granddaughters, Sheila Nunley and husband, Brandon, Danielle and Erin Jeffrey, Crystal Colley and Beth Murray; and great grandchildren, Diedra Nunley, Rylee and Gavin Colley and Delaney Dowell.
Funeral services for Geraldine Jeffrey will be conducted at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Mark Davidson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at Farris Funeral Service from 5:00 until 6:45 P.M. Thursday.
Committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 3, 2011 at Tri-Cities Memory Gardens in Blountville, TN with Minister Mark Gaminde officiating. Those wishing to attend the committal service are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:50 A.M.
