San Juan, Puerto Rico German Bravo Perez, age 84, passed away on February 7, 2015 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was a native of Puerto Rico and as a young man joined the U.S. Army. He made the Army his career. During his career, he fought in the Korean Conflict, was part of the Japanese Occupational Force following WWII, and served as a Green Beret in Central and South America. German was a true patriot, spending countless hours helping disabled veterans. For these efforts, he was frequently recognized by the Governor of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Congress. His service to his country and others was always second to his family, who he loved deeply. He was always there when times were good to help celebrate. He was also there in times of hardship to offer support and encouragement. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Teresa Alvira Rucci of the home; children Katherine Bravo Farris of Boone, NC; Jose Bravo of Celebration, FL; Luz Margarita Bravo of Puerto Rico and German Bravo, Jr. of Miami, FL; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
