Gladys Aileen Hinkle Eller

Gladys Aileen Hinkle Eller, 94, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She was born September 4, 1916 in Tazewell County, VA and was a daughter of the late Henry and Manza Harmon Hinkle. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Eller; three grandchildren, one brother and three sisters. She was a member of Byars-Cobbs United Methodist Church in Glade Spring.
Survivors are her daughters, Gayle McThenia and husband, Clayton of Rock Falls, IL, and Joy E. Helton and husband, Donald of Abingdon; her son, Tom E. Eller of Wytheville, VA; grandchildren, Corey McThenia and wife, Mary of Dixon, IL and Kelly Clifton and husband, Lee of Rock Falls, IL; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Louise Eller and several nieces and nephews.
The family would also like to extend thanks to caregivers, Rita Gordon, Lilly Kessee, Mary Armstrong and Carol Elmore.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Paul Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring.
Pallbearers will be Don Rector, Wade Phipps, Tony Surber, Tommy DeBusk, Marvin Taylor, Bill Graybeal and Melvin Sword.
The family will be receiving friends beginning at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Farris Funeral Service.
