Glenda Jeffers Beaty, age 55, passed away Monday after a brief fight with cancer. She was fortunate enough to die in peace at her home in Bristol, Virginia with her loved ones around her. Her spirit lives on in all those she touched.
Her flame is carried by her surviving husband of 34 years, Braven Beaty; her son, Jared Beaty and his fiancée, Holly Harrison, both of Roanoke, Va.; her sister, Debbie Wentz and her husband, Hank, of Raleigh, N.C.; her sister, Phyllis Keeter and her husband, Charles, of Havelock, N.C.; her brother, Phillip Jeffers of Raleigh, N.C.; nieces, Sayer Brosnahan and Kelly Keeter; and nephew, Aubrey Keeter. In addition, she leaves behind a wonderful and grieving extended family of in-laws and cousins.
Her life was way too short but she enriched everyone else’s she touched. May she rest in peace.
A celebration of her life for family and friends will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Wellmont Hospice at 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, Tenn. 37620 or online at www.wellmont.org/Medical-Services/Hospice/Hospice/ in honor of Glenda.
