Abingdon, VA - Glenna M. Fields, age 68, went to be with her lord and savior Jesus Christ on February 5, 2025, in Abingdon Va. She was the baby of nine children born to the late John and Jude Skipper. Glenna was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Glade Spring Va. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jude Skipper; son, Chad Fields; sisters, Gloria Skipper, Joann Lamb, Joann Thomas and Shelia Skipper; and brothers, Robert Skipper and Frankie Skipper.
Those left to mourn her are her loving husband, Bill Fields; devoted son, Chris Fields; two brothers, Harold Skipper (Helen), and Johnny Skipper (Delores); daughter-in-law, Anna Fields; granddaughter, Kaylee McMillian (Lyona); special niece, Vanessa; sisters-in-law, Ruth Fields and Mary Hall; and special friend, Jessie Sosoporecz.
