Gregory Wayne Cook

Bristol, VA – Gregory Wayne Cook, age 48, passed on Monday, July 17, 2017. Greg was a former employee of the Town of Abingdon and is preceded in death by his father, John Turner Cook, Jr; and step father, Claude Ray Allison.

He is survived by his daughter, Santanna Cook and fiancée Don Hause, III of Bristol, VA; mother, Eileen Harrison Allison of Lebanon, VA; brother, John Turner Cook, III and wife Lisa of Abingdon, VA; fiancée, Drema Combs of Abingdon, VA; sister, Kimberly Dawn Cook Paige and husband Terry of Meadowview, VA; grandson, Grady Hause; and niece, Margaret Cook of Texas.

Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
