Hallie "Eileen" Norris

Hallie "Eileen" Price Norris, age 80, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Accordius Health at Abingdon.  She was born to the late Gleneth Price and Edith Pope Price.  She was a member of Highland Chapel Church was a former employee of Bonnie's Family Restaurant.   

In addition to her parents, Eileen was also preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Earnest Clay Norris; brother, Billy Price; and three sisters, Zola Price, Shirley Hurd, and Bonnie Jones.
Eileen is survived by two sons, Ronald Gene Norris and Robert C. Norris, both of the home; daughter, Louise Widener and husband, Junior, of Abingdon, Va.; three sisters: Grace Merritt and husband, Bill; Donna Shaffer and husband, Billy; and Peggy Wright and husband, William; two brothers, Jimmy Price and wife, Linda, and Allen Price and wife, Beth; three grandchildren:  Robert Earnest Norris; Andrew Widener and wife, Whitney; and Nicole Widener; three great grandchildren, Riley, Garrett, and Lucas Widener; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Bro. George Durham and Pastor Mark Overbeck officiating.  A committal service will follow in Highland Chapel Cemetery where Danny Jackson, Ronald Norris, Billy Shaffer, Andrew Widener, Shane Wright, and Travis Wright will serve as pallbearers.  Alan Price, Jason Price, Darrell Price, and William Wright will serve as honorary pallbearers.  Visitation will be held Monday, May 17th from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
