Harry Allen Nash, age 60, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Nash was preceded in death by his parents, Logan Palmer Nash and Margaret Shoemaker Nash as well as a special brother-in-law, Bill Jordan.
He is survived by two sons, Travis and wife Emily Nash of Bristol, TN and Josh Nash of Abingdon, VA; former wife and mother of his two sons, Kathy Harrison; two sisters, Peggy Jordan of Abingdon, VA and Joann Jenkins of Kirbyville, TX; two brothers, Carlos and wife Sandra Nash of Maiden, NC and Kyle Nash of Plant City, FL; special niece, Tina Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Burke and Dr. McSharry as well as the Nursing Staff of Fourth Floor West of Wellmont Hospital.
Harry was a 1972 Graduate of Castlewood High School and was a coal miner for several years. Mr. Nash was also an employee of L.E. Myers Company.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood, VA with Bro. Wayne Gobble officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Dewey Kiser, Cledis Fields, Carlos Nash, Jr., Shane Sullivan, Jordan Sullivan and Dakotah Sullivan.
