Hazel Louise Belcher Hawthorne

Mrs. Hazel Louise Belcher Hawthorne, went to be with the Lord, March 12, 2016 at Grace Health Care. She was born March 6, 1940 in Russell County to the late Ellis and Lola Sauls Belcher. She was a member of Fellowship Chapel in Bristol, VA. She loved spending time with her family and a friend to all who knew her. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter Angela Hawthorne, seven brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Hawthorne is survived by her husband of fifty six years Gene C. Hawthorne, three sons, Darrell Hawthorne, Garry Hawthorne, Chris Hawthorne all of Bristol, VA. Six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two brothers, Arnold Belcher of Bristol, TN and Ernest Belcher of Lodi, VA.Family will receive friends Monday, March 14, 2016, 6-8 p.m. at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Graveside Service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Scott Price officiating. Everyone wishing to attend the service is asked to assemble at the funeral home by 1:40 p.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Ralph Belcher Jr., Steve Belcher, Junior Belcher, Billy Jones Sr., Darrell Campbell, Dennis Belcher, and Adam Hawthorne.
