Helen M. Doyle, age 78, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Cosbie Doyle. Ms. Doyle was a faithful member of Glade Spring Baptist Church, and she was a dedicated and compassionate nurse who lovingly took care of babies while they were on the neonatal ward. After her retirement, she volunteered her time at Johnston Memorial Hospital, American Cancer Society, and the Glade Spring Food Bank.
Helen had unwavering faith and loved the Lord and her church family. She is now in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Even though she is not survived by any immediate family members, she is survived and sadly missed by many people who loved and cherished her friendship.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 3, 2012, at Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring with Pastor Dennis Blazier officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glade Spring Food Bank, P.O. Box 338, Glade Spring, VA 24340.
