Ina Mae Weddle

Ina Mae Dotson Weddle, age 85, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Mae was born in Dickenson County, Virginia to the late Lee and Ada Ann Dotson. Mae had lived in Washington County for the past forty-six years. She loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mae enjoyed Elvis Presley and being a loving homemaker. Mae had a love for all animals, and she was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by one brother, Homer Dotson, and two sisters, Georgia Helen Dotson and Joyce Akers. Mae is survived by her husband, Ballard Weddle; four sons, Danny (Wanda) Buchanan, Ricky (Kim) Dotson, Freddie (Juanita) Dotson, and James Weddle; four daughters, Nina Dotson, Kathy (Rick) Johnson, Trish (Dale) Polley and Bobbie Weddle. Mae is also survived by four sisters, Dorothy Gaskey, Laura (Tom) Pruitt, Lillian (Max) Osbourne, and Brenda Bennett. Three Brothers, Carroll (Sadie) Dotson, Cline (Pat) Dotson, and Roger Dotson; eighteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Mrs. Ina Mae Dotson Weddle will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2015 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Keith Cobb and Rev. Larry Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday, August 21, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
