Isaac Keys Wilcox

Isaac Keys Wilcox, 78, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 5, 2011.

He was born December 21, 1932 and was a son of the late Arthur Samuel and Nancy Annie Perkins Wilcox. He worked as a truck driver most of his life and had received the 4 Million Mile Award for driving accident-free. He was also a member of Valley View Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Louise Thomas Wilcox; six brothers and five sisters.

Survivors are his son, Tommy Wilcox and wife, Jeanie of Glade Spring, VA; daughter, Lori Cullop and husband, Larry of Spartanburg, SC; wife, Mary Hazel Townsend Wilcox; brothers, John Wilcox and wife, Lois of Sidney, OH and Paul Wilcox and wife, Clair of Meadowview, VA; sister, Bly Barger of Meadowview, VA; four grandchildren, Tiffany, Kayla, Catilin and Andy; two great grandchildren, Tristen and Cheyenne; and three step-children, Mike Townsend and wife, Mary, Manuel Townsend and wife, Christy and Gloria Bussey and husband, Charlie.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 5:00 7:00 P.M. with service to follow at 7:00 P.M. in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Kenneth Widner officiating. Committal services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 9, 2011 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend committal services may assemble at Farris Funeral Service by 10:30 A.M. Friday. Pallbearers will be Rodney Humphrey, Ronnie Wilcox, Andy Wilcox, Johnny Caudill, Kenneth Botts and Dave Millsap.
