Jack McCracken

Meadowview, VA Mr. Jack “Jackie” McCracken, age 64, passed away on Tuesday April 22, 2014 in Johnston Memorial Hospital after a battle with cancer. Jackie was a lifelong resident of Washington County VA and was the owner of McCracken Concrete Services. Additionally, he drove concrete trucks for a number of the area companies. Jackie was an avid motorcycle rider and loved his Suzuki. Jackie was predeceased by his parents Jack McCracken, Sr. and Minnie Wilcox McCracken. He is survived by his wife Nellie McCracken; two sons, Jackie Wayne McCracken of Bristol, VA and Johnny Lee McCracken of Abingdon; one daughter Shana Taylor of Meadowview, VA; four brothers, Douglas, Arthur and Ray McCracken all of Meadowview, VA and Wayne McCracken of Chilhowie, VA; one sister Barbara Ann of Glade Spring, VA; and three grandchildren. Jackie is also survived by two special friends, Randy Reynolds and Herbert Little. There will be no services for Mr. McCracken.
