Jackie Wayne Fleenor, age 77, of Abingdon, Va., passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born to the late Charles Thomas Fleenor, Jr. and Eula Lee Bussey Fleenor. Jackie was a former employee of Campbell’s Truck Stop, Dairyman, Inc., and Goodpasture Motor Company. He was a member of Wyndale United Methodist Church. Jackie was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Wayne Fleenor.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Kelly Fleenor; three children: Debbie Burke and husband, Ronnie, of Abingdon, Va.; Leighton Fleenor and husband, Henry Naon, of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Tracy Pannell of Bristol, Va.; sister, Patricia “Patty” Lilly and husband, Tommy, of Abingdon, Va.; two grandchildren, Chase Pannell and Amanda Stallard and husband, Matthew; a great grandson, Arrow Stallard; a niece and a nephew; and his special friend, Dave Looney.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with the Rev. Luther W. Roberts officiating. In observance of Covid-19 restrictions, face masks will be required for attendance and social distancing will be practiced.
