James Clinton Heath, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at his residence in Glade Spring, VA. He was born in Logan County, WV to Robert Sandy Heath and Mary Thompson Heath on May 6, 1936. James served his country in the US Navy and posted on the USS Princeton. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Betty F. Heath; sister, Carrie Heath and seven brothers, Charles, Bobby, Glen, Dewey, Harold, Jack and Paul Heath.
Survivors include his son, James D. Heath (Cynthia); brother, Riley Heath; granddaughter, Angela Faye White (Richard); three great grandchildren Meghan, Caleb and Alisha White and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Mount Rose Cemetery, 10069 Crescent Road, Glade Spring, VA 24340 with military honors.
