James "Kyle" Lambert, Age 54, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his home after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Lambert and brother, Dr. Denny Ray Lambert.
He is survived by his mother, Velva O'Quinn Lambert of Abingdon, VA; sister-in-law, Muoi Lambert; nephews, John Lambert of Bristol, TN and Will Lambert of Johnson City, TN; niece, LeAnn Lambert of Bristol, VA; great-nieces, Destiny and Annabell Lambert of Bristol, VA; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends..
The family would like to thank Russell County Hospice for the loving care they gave Kyle through this long struggle. Kim Horn, Diane Hale, Becky Barton and all the nurses on Dr. James Gardner's staff are appreciated.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M. Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral & Cremation Service with Tam Hill, Edward Tiller and Linden Whited officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00P.M. at Temple Hill Cemetery in Castlewood, VA. John Lambert, Will Lambert, Greg O'Quinn, Jeff O'Quinn, Michael O'Quinn, Jerry Hicks and Ralph Hicks will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be 5:30-7:30P.M. Monday at Farris Funeral & Cremation Service. A song service will be held at 7:30P.M. following the visitation.
