Bristol, Tenn. – James Mark Webb, 50, passed on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Johnson City Medical Center. Mark was a 1983 graduate of Patrick Henry High School. After graduation, he attended Virginia Tech where he was nose tackle for the football team for four years and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Mark was an avid football and Virginia Tech fan. He is preceded in death by his parents, Haley Thomas Webb, Sr. and Bessie Gardenia Watkins Webb; and brother, George Timothy Watkins. Mark is survived by his fiancee Rachel Cottrell and “daughter” Olivia of Bristol, Tenn.; two sisters, Delores Ann Fullen of Kingsport, Tenn., and Barbara Elaine Webb and special friend Clint Edwards of Meadowview, Va.; four brothers, Fred Watkins and wife Ava of Washington, D.C., Richard Watkins of Bristol, Va., Tony Webb and wife Miriam of Bristol, Tenn., and Marris Stanley Webb and special friend Melane of Johnson City, Tenn.; aunt, Erie Webb of North Carolina; very good friend, Eric Frahm; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he cherished very much. Visitation with the family will be held from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Willie Austin officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Frahm, Jeff Fullen, Blake Mink, Tony Byrd, Jonathan Fullen, Michael Fullen, James Fullen, Warren Lindsey, John Smith, Mark Turner, and Moe Smith.
