James N. Stovall

Mr. James N. Stovall, age 84, passed away December 18, 2011 at a Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque , NM . He was born in Washington County , Virginia , and was preceded in death by his parents, James N. Stovall and Bina Norris Stovall; his brother, Eugene Stovall of Chesapeake, VA; and daughter whom he dearly loved, Jennie Stovall.

He was drafted into the United State Army during World War II and served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from the United States Air Force, and later retired from work for the United State Government in Albuquerque , NM .

Mr. Stovall is survived by his wife Peggy; his siblings: Mary Ann Sheppard of Chesapeake , VA ; Ruby Clark of Glade Spring; Helen Lane of Chesapeake ; William A. Stovall of Glade Spring; Howard Stovall and wife Judy of Glade Spring; and Mildred Suzie Martin of Emory; many loving nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mr. Stovall will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011. French Mortuary in Albuquerque is in charge of arrangements. Information provided by Farris Funeral Service of Abingdon , VA.
