Jane P. Marlow

Jane Marlow, 70, of Abingdon, Virginia, passed away on October 1, 2024 at home surrounded by her family.   She was a life-long resident of Washington County, Virginia. Jane worked in the Washington County local government administrative offices and then retired from Food City and K-VA-T.  Jane loved to work outside in her flower beds and do projects with her family. She adored her granddaughters and watching them grow and learn brought her great joy. 

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Marlow Jr.; father, Lycurgues Peltier Jr.; and sister, Terry Lynn Peltier.  Survivors include her daughter, Maria Marlow (Jonathan Fisher); granddaughters, Madison Marlow and Addison Marlow; mother, Marie Peltier; brother, John Peltier and wife Cathy; brother, Mark Peltier and wife Teresa; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor David Robins officiating.
