Abingdon, VA – Janie Louise Pope Norris, age 82, passed on Friday, January 29, 2021, in Johnston Memorial Hospital. Janie was a member of Spoon Gap Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kerman and Hallie Largen Pope; husband, Herman Norris; brother, Homer Pope; and sisters, Edith Price, Icie Graybeal, Zelphia Huff, and Lillie Roark.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lewis; son, Gary Norris; grandson, Mark (Angel) Lewis; sister, Nona (Garland) Graybeal; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021, in Mt. View United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Herbert Bailey officiating.
