Janie Osborne Peterson

Janie Osborne Peterson, age 63, passed away on Saturday October 28, 2017 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Janie spent most of her time as a resident of Glade Spring, Va. She graduated from Patrick Henry High School and East Tennessee State University. She was a member of the Glade Spring Baptist Church and worked for many years in Va. State Government and home furnishing retail business.

Janie was predeceased by her father James T. Osborne. She is survived by her son Eric Davidson and wife Susan and their daughter Claudia of Johnson City, TN; her mother Faye Osborne of Glade Spring; brother Rev. Dan Osborne and wife Carolyn of Raleigh, NC; sister Deborah Faith Osborne of Skipwith, Va. Special cousins Jerry and Anita Moore, Jimmy and Pam Huff and Melanie Deckard also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Old Glade Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev. Dan Osborne, Rev. Dennis Blazier, and Rev. Robert Blankenship officiating. Casket bearers will be selected from members of the Glade Spring Baptist Church. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery at least 15 minutes prior to the service.
