Mendota, VA- Infant Jasper Elijah Justice passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014. He was 9lbs., 15.4 oz., and 21.5 in. long. He is survived by his parents, Justen Lee Justice and Isabella Renee Shaffer; paternal grandparents, Jay Justice and Lisa Statzer; maternal grandparents, Rebekah R. Cox and Joie Shaffer; aunt, Brittany Justice; uncle, McKinley Shaffer; and two cousins, Rylan Shaffer and Declan Connor Mayer. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 31st at Hendrick Cemetery in Mendota with the Reverend John E. Massey, Jr. officiating. Jay Justice and Therl Edward Wright will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of the Birthing Center at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
