Jean M. Grady, age 73, passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She retired from Parks-Belk of Bristol, VA and was a member of Belle Meadows Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Fields Minnich.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Charles H. Grady; three daughters, Natalie Grady of Kingsport, TN, Kimberly Fleenor and husband Douglas of Bristol, VA, and Lisa Walden and husband Joseph of Meadowview, VA; sister, Elizabeth Stokes of Gate City, VA; brother, Wayne Minnich of Gate City, VA; two grandchildren, Chelsie Mullins of Bristol, VA and Zeb Walden of Meadowview, VA.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Dewey W. Williams officiating. A committal service will follow at Knollkreg Memorial Park in Abingdon, VA.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the nurses and staff of the 2nd Floor West of Bristol Regional Medical Center for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212.
